Boston Event – "Trans Kids, Our Kids"
Please join us for the Boston, MA stop of the TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS book tour! Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth is a new book that takes readers inside the movement for transgender youth, told through narratives that will open your eyes, break your heart, and give you hope.
The book is co-written by team members from the Campaign for Southern Equality, a leader in the work to protect trans youth and their families across the South and, through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, nationwide.
For this stop in Boston, we are proud to feature two people whose voices are included in the book – Nicole Talbot and Ashton Mota. This event will include a reading from TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS; a panel discussion that includes co-authors Alexis Stratton and Adam Polaski, cover designer Liz Williams, Nicole & Ashton; a Q&A focused on how you can take action featuring GLTBQ Legal Advocates & Defenders; and a book signing.
