Community Panel on Faith & LGBTQ+ Communities

Please join us for a special community event in Columbia, SC on how affirming faith communities can support LGBTQ+ folks right now. The event will include resources sharing and a panel where we'll bring together faith leaders, local advocates, and more for a discussion on how faith communities can support equity and justice for the LGBTQ+ community. We'll also share uplifting stories of trans youth and those who support them from Campaign for Southern Equality's new book, Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth.

The panel will feature:
- Alexis Stratton, Co-author of Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth
- Zoe Glass, SC United
- PJ Whitehurst, Reformation Lutheran Church/Safe Space Dinners
- And more!

Arrive at 4:00 p.m. for tabling and to network with others interested in serving and supporting LGBTQ+ youth and adults. The panel and community conversation will start at 4:30 p.m. The event is family friendly, and open to all ages.
