Austin Event – "Trans Kids, Our Kids"

Please join us for the Austin, Texas stop of the TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS book tour! Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth is a new book that takes readers inside the movement for transgender youth, told through narratives that will open your eyes, break your heart, and give you hope.

The book is co-written by team members from the Campaign for Southern Equality, a leader in the work to protect trans youth and their families across the South and, through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, nationwide.

For this stop in Austin, we are proud to partner with Equality Texas, the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), and kin•dom community. This event will include a reading from TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS; a panel discussion that includes co-authors Alexis Stratton and Adam Polaski, representatives from Equality Texas, TENT, and kin•dom; a Q&A focused on how you can take action; and a book signing.

All proceeds from the sales of TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS will support the Trans Youth Emergency Project, which helps families of trans youth navigate anti-transgender healthcare restrictions.
