Raleigh Event – "Trans Kids, Our Kids"

Please join us for the Raleigh, NC stop of the TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS book tour! Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth is a new book that takes readers inside the movement for transgender youth, told through narratives that will open your eyes, break your heart, and give you hope.

The book is co-written by team members from the Campaign for Southern Equality, a leader in the work to protect trans youth and their families across the South and, through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, nationwide.

For this stop in Raleigh, we are proud to partner with the LGBT Center of Raleigh for a very special event. The program will include a reading from TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS; a panel discussion centering transgender youth, moderated by co-authors Alexis Stratton, Liz Williams, and Kori Hennessey of the LGBT Center of Raleigh; and a book signing.

Please RSVP for this free event – and, if you're able, add a donation that will directly support trans and queer youth.  All proceeds from the sales of TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS will support the Trans Youth Emergency Project, which helps families of trans youth navigate anti-transgender healthcare restrictions. Books will be available for purchase by Wanderlust Books on-site at the event, or you can pre-order it here.
