Birmingham, AL Event – "Trans Kids, Our Kids"

Please join us for a very special event in Birmingham, AL that will highlight two books about transgender young people! Meet with the teams behind Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth.Trans Kids, Our Kids is co-written by team members from the Campaign for Southern Equality, a leader in the work to protect trans youth and their families across the South and, through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, nationwide.

This special stop in Birmingham will include a reading from Trans Kids, Our Kids; a panel discussion that includes co-authors Rev. Jasmine Beach-Ferrara, Alexis Stratton, and Adam Polaski plus cover designer Liz Williams; a Q&A focused on how you can take action; and a book signing. 

Please RSVP for this free event – and, if you're able, add a donation that will directly support trans and queer youth.  All proceeds from the sales of Trans Kids, Our Kids will support the Trans Youth Emergency Project, which helps families of trans youth navigate anti-transgender healthcare restrictions.
